Celebrating 5 years of community service in the Lowcountry

So, what happened in 2019?

We held 6 FREE Sewing Workshops –
to learn how we make our weighted blankets, lap pads and vests

We held our first annual community Back to School event and we were
able to donate 1,800 therapeutic products within the All-Inclusive classrooms.

We added two new Board members (5 now)  –
Allison Kane – owner of the Tri-County Therapy
and A.J. Bilbrey at the Cooper & Bilbrey, P.C. Law firm.

We were able to send 5 children to Summer Camp
through the Rex Porter Summer camp scholarship

Clap Your Hands was invited and spoke to the therapy students
at MUSC and the College of Charleston on the importance
of weighted products for their patients.

We were invited and spoke with the Summerville Junior League
on 2 occasions and shared our vision for the Special Needs community.

Clap Your Hands donated over 3,000 therapeutic products in 2019,
bringing our total for the past 5 years to over 11,000 donations.
